PBMichiganWolverine

Brenne Ten Single Malt (2015 Edition)

Single Malt — Cognac, France

Reviewed September 6, 2018 (edited March 9, 2019)

Had it at WhiskyLive NJ. Less floral than her ( Alison Patel) original, which I felt was more a perfume than whiskey. This has less floral, a bit more wood, and much more depth. Interesting find.

@PBMichiganWolverine I tried this at the whisky extravaganza in New York. Allison wasn't pouring as she is in Paris right now. This is similar to the estate cask in flavor profile but tastes more like whisky.

@Soba45. Yeah, it’s interesting, but if not buy a full bottle. Still quite floral for me. But, you know it’s gotten bigger now since Alison Patel isn’t the one pouring anymore. I remember when I had the very first Brenne, she was the one behind the counter pouring. Now it was some poor girl drenched in a local monsoon we had right before the tasting

Aha was wondering about this one as there was mixed reviews. Will leave it on my samples list
