Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

This is truly an outstanding bourbon, interesting and complex but very easy to drink. For me this Evan Williams runs the gamut, from nose, palette to finish, the tasting notes remain steadfast throughout. Full bodied and not too sweet, maple and caramel, peanut and yes when searching you can pick up tropical fruit with a bit of baking spice added to the finish. You’re hard pressed to find a better bourbon at this price point.

@BDanner You do have to compromise a little with this one but it is a full $10 less than the McKenna here.
@PBMichiganWolverine I think I’ve bought one bottle since it dipped under 10yrs. Started buying the McKenna for the same price. I have noticed the ages creeping back up a little and McKenna is now almost $40, this may be worth another look.
@Guitar_mann it’s too bad these are now 8 yr olds. I think it was 10 yr old till just a few years back
@Guitar_mann yeah I think this is a really undervalued single barrel
@OldDude Can you imagine how great this would be if it was ~50% ABV??? I know that it would push $40 but dang! It would be great!
