Goslings is just sweet and approachable. I stand by my statement because I prefer a sweeter style dark and stormy, but definitely need to revisit Myers. My (negative) opinions on it were formed before I had a concept for Jamaican funk. It is cheap and I have a hunch it just isn't all that good, but its possible my opinion could have changed with an appreciation for more exotic flavors and recognizing that Jamaican rum can't have added sugar.

Thanks for the comparison with Myer's. I'm thinking of what to get when I need to restock.
