On the nose is sweet wheat bread, vanilla extract, creamy caramel and oak wood with a hint of cinnamon.
-
To the palate it is very sweet with a light wood spice, red candy apple, sweet vanilla, caramel sauce, sweet corn and soft wood notes coating the palate in its syrupy mouthfeel.
-
The finish has a hint of dry oak, but overall it is quite sweet, with that caramel apple note lingering longest.
—
Overall, this makes for quite a sweet, corn syrup like bourbon that is soft on the palate, and well balanced by all the sweetest elements of oak wood maturation, with only enough light spice to keep it interesting.
