Weller Antique 107 Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed
September 21, 2018 (edited August 24, 2019)
Apearance: Red and amber hues. A bit thin on the glass for its hefty proof but acceptable.
Nose: Very sweet with definate cherries and maybe plumb or dark fruit.
Palate: Vanilla and brown sugar are the stars here with a hint of baking spice and apples.
Finish: Nice smooth medium to long finish. Burn is gradual and warming.
Overall: Beautiful bourbon. Hard to find by me but well worth it. Got 2 bottles at MSRP (25.00) but have heard others paying twice that or more. I wont trade it.

@BeppeCovfefe I had reviewed the 12 yr and the 107 awhile back. They are hard fir me to put in rank order because the 12 and OWA are different animals. While the 12 is mellow.....and can sometimes be boring....it is what a wheated bourbin aims to be. Mild, relaxing, tempered, and a sipper. The 107 brings out the fruits, sugar, and holds up a bit more. Depends what I am in mood for.
There is a store near me that sells this for 200$ and the 12 year for 250. I think they should have their license revoked, needless to say I don't really support that store. Besides if anything the 107 should be 250 and the 12 year 200.
