Trying to avoid sounding like a broken record... Buuuuttt too much Oak in this otherwise delicious scotch. Too bad.

I have to differ and say the oakiness is very slight, unlike, say in Glenfiddich 26 YO or Balvenie 14 YO. Joseph Brodsky wrote he’d like to smoke his cigarette in Venice, thrown it into a canal and shoot himself. It tastes as closely heavenly as that, plus old stamps, orange marmalade, vanilla and pepper.
