Let me start by saying, I am not a huge fan of wheated bourbons. Most tend to give me a weird mint after-taste that I don't care for. Taste is subjective, my wife does not experience this taste sensation. YMMV.
For an entry level wheated bourbon, it's hard to go wrong with this bottle. It captures the smooth, silky, caramel, vanilla, brown sugar front that made wheat legendary. The middle is silky, not quite creamy, and still sweet. The finish is thin and quick, a hint of baking spice (and for some, a bit of a mint after taste). All in all, not a bad pour if the taste profile appeals to you.
