Somewhat weak nose. Getting deeper into the glass only raises the alcohol burn. But it’s pretty tasty straight up. Peaty but not overdone, with a nice citrusy sweetness. It’s oiliness makes for a very pleasant mouth swish. A satisfying finish with a lingering sweetness and a mild burn. Empty glass - not much there, maybe my schnozz is not working tonight

I didn’t know about this HP. I really like HP, but they must have more bottle variety than just about anyone.
@deuce26 Yeah really. Smell is supposedly so integral to taste that you’d think you couldn’t have one without the other.
Never had this one but I find it so strange that some whisky smells amazing and complex and falls flat on the palate and vise versa.
