After initially trying this at a bar, I was able to pick up a bottle a few months later. The first time I had it, it was really good but I did not let it rest like I should have. Trying it at home was a game changer. I let it rest for about 20 minutes and it changed everything. It is sweet and outrageously smooth. For an 18 year, I think it is priced great but still expensive enough to limit how often I will be able to enjoy it. It’s like it’s telling me a story. The palate starts off sharp and fruity but I think I enjoyed the finish the most, long and drawn out, tasting like candy. It has catapulted towards the top of my favorites I have had so far.
