Subtle nose, needs some time to open. Then vanilla antacid, dry heat, and a little banana. Some rye spice hits you, then a slightly thicker sweetness of honey and vanilla. The finish is medium length, not too sweet or dry. This is bourbon.

@WhiskyWitch @cascode totally agree. We all know the premiums will be good. But it’ll be so useful to find a gem in the budget ones
Don’t apologise, reviews of budget whisky are arguably more useful than those of premium drams :-)
Bear with me for the next few reviews, I got some cheap standard bourbon miniatures to compare, and working my way through them...
