Clear dark gold in colour with medium viscosity.
A full and flavourful nose, with a split second of citrus right off the bat, then in floods the honey, vanilla, along with a bit of oatmeal and maybe a touch of banana. Coming up near the end a hint of oak which somehow reminds me of antique furniture.
Leather seems to be the main act on the palate, which has a medium light body and surprisingly not too sweet as the nose might imply.
A clean and relatively short finish with cocoa notes and a hint of tobacco fading away and leaving me looking forward to the next sip.
Complex and interesting, a surprising variety of flavours as you move through the dram. Me likey.
