For me, best kept chilled.
Sweet, with a little smoke, and a little spice and everything seems just right. Well balanced and very smooth.
Considering it’s price point and availability, you should have a bottle.
Was top two in a blind tasting with a few friends over of about 10 whiskeys.

@Zach_Telfor Well, it might not have been fair since we had mixed in scotches and bourbons as well as some were stored chilled and drastic price differences between some; as well we all had pretty different scores. Some of us as well tasted neat while others had single ice cube. We had 6 categories of assessment on Scales of 1-7(aroma, color, smoothness, aftertaste, overall and an adjective to describe whiskey) which is surprising how different that one was. 1 being worst 7 being best. It was fun I recommend doing something like this. In the order that we tasted, not on ranking. Buffalo trace Makers mark Basil Hayden Texas rangers Glenlivet founders reserve Clyde Mays Makers 46 served chilled(scored pretty high top 2 or 3) Chivas regal 18 year Balvenie Caribbean cask 14 year Angel envy (also scores pretty high top 2 or 3) There really was no clear consensus, but it was a great time. Have acquired more whiskey since than and now slowly working my way up in have a nice little collection. Hope this is what you were looking for. 👍
What was the full ranking order you and your friends came up with? Would be interested to read.
