I've come back to this after a few months trying Lagavulin and others. Maybe my palette has developed but this is now a favourite. Sipping whisky for sure and best with a touch of water. But sweet yet medicinal on the nose with a smooth kick of toffee caramel followed by a tornado of smoke and peat on the finish. Not as full in the mouth as the Lagavulin, but really this is a great whisky.
