Sherried and fruity with a nice depth of flavor and I love the caramelized aspect of this malt from the direct fired stills. An absolute bargain at $35 in NH. P.S. Ever wanted to try Yamazaki 12yo? Drink this instead and save yourself about $60. Literally identical flavor profile. If you’d poured me both I’d be hard pressed to tell the difference.
