M&H Young Single Malt Triple Cask
Single Malt — Israel

Milk and honey my ass. More like varnish and turpentine. I bought a small sample of this more as a curiosity. Israel is known for top 3 in the world for cyber security, artificial intelligence software, and top notch bio-pharma. But whiskey? Maybe not. Has some ways to go before the Scots start worrying about competition. Nose is horrible...like plastic. Taste: bitter, astringent. Some grassy notes, a touch of heat at the finish. My top three worst—-Abhainn Barf 🤮 still rules supreme, followed by this piece of waste, then a young Girvan.

Worth noting that they don’t market this as whisky as they are following the Scottish rule of three years’ maturation. This is a spirit drink.
@PBMichiganWolverine I think it was something around $120 for the bottle.
@Aviram-Segal was it reasonably priced? I’ve noticed a lot of these inaugurals have silly prices
I have their first single malt (released 2018) you're up for a pleasant surprise.
@Richard-ModernDrinking good point...it’s listed as young spirit malt. So, less than 3 yrs
@PBMichiganWolverine to be fair, do they even claim it is whisky yet or is it just a young malt spirit?
@Soba45 maybe a decade. Till then, stay away
@worldwhiskies95 yeah..I once had a good friend in grad school that told me “ you have to get with the trash to appreciate the diamonds”. He wasn’t referring to whiskey, but the principle still applies
Ah interesting I was wondering what this distillery was like. One to avoid it seems!
Seems like u've tried some awful stuff lately.
