Rich and herbal. It really is delicious out of the freezer, as advertised. This is my dad’s favourite drink (and yes he happens to be of German background). Molasses, anise/black licorice and notorious herbal complexity. Like tequila it’s got a bad name for being a popular college shot. If you like black licorice though it’s really worth a second try. $29 in Ontario.

I liked this a LOT more than I imagined I would, especially cold. It would probably be my grad school staple too, if Disaronno didn't exist...
Well, I may have to revisit this. My last memory of Jager is from college...and I use "memory" lightly. The same evening also involved Cuervo Gold (or "Beelzebub's Wet Cat-Scented Piss" as I usually refer to it), so I mostly just recall throwing up in the 24 hour taqueria's bathroom at 3am, then drunk-dialing all of my crushes. I was classy at 21, I was...
@PBMichiganWolverine Jagerbombs all the way :) Ahh those school days...
My grad school staple. This was the go-to pour for those of us in grad school that were too broke to buy anything top shelf, but too sophisticated ( or so we thought) to buy cheap beer
