Got a sample of this from a bartender after an interesting talk with a bartender about indian whisky. Very good stuff with notes of sherried dried fruit, red berries, a little chocolate, and some spices.

This is an excellent whisky. Just got a bottle of my own and I think it’s even better than Intermediate Sherry and Kadhambam (But not by much).
@PBMichiganWolverine Did ur wife introduce u to whisky? Wondering because u told me in email u have been collecting whiskies for the past 15 years, which is around the time u got married.
@PBMichiganWolverine Maya is a Mexican restaurant in nyc.
@worldwhiskies95 I’ve been to Tamarind—-loved it. Haven’t been to Baar Baar (means Again and Again). We usually reserve these Michelin quality ones for our anniversary—so, I think we’ll try Baar Baar next April for our 15th wedding anniversary. Is Maya (Mother) still around? Was there ages ago. I think my favorite hands down was for our 10th anniversary—-Blue Hills at Stone Barns just outside NYC
@PBMichiganWolverine It is a new limited edition release. I agree with your point on Junoon. Have you ever been to or heard of Tamarind or Baar Baar. Baar Baar is a 1 yr old Indian restaurant that is very good to and also more of a cool place. Looking at Junoon's website I was hoping to give the Spectrum a try, only to find it ran out when I arrived.
@worldwhiskies95 Amrut has a Madeira finish? That sounds interesting. On a side note: I love Junoon...Michelin star Indian restaurant...pricey, but good
