Sea salt spray, orange peel, and various fruits on the nose. Quite complex. Talisker notes with a bit of peat come first on the pallet. Honey and vanilla wood in the middle. Mid-length finish with a touch of smoke. 91/100.

Lenslocker, unfortunately I too haven't found a similar replacement for the JW Green Label. Certainly nothing else in the JW line is quite the same. I can see the influence of each single malt involved in the blend when I taste it, and I enjoy many of those malts on their own. But nothing I've found does a good job of presenting a similar profile to the Green Label. Snatch up every bottle you can!
Hi Keaton, I wouldn't call myself a whiskey expert but have tried many and always come back to green label. They're in short supply now and I really want to find something similar, I have a few bottles left but would like to keep them, do you have a recommendation for a similar tasting whiskey? Many thanks.
