A bit dry, peppery, and alcohol forward. Slightly sweet but with more of a dark chocolate, molasses, and rubber taste. Adding water or ice does not help this rum as it closes it off quite a bit. Best enjoyed straight but it’s not at the top of my list when it comes to aged rum.
