I am a novice to peaty, smoky whiskies. I am a Speyside drinker and I'm scared of Islay honestly. However this was an amazing compromise (idle of Skye). I had on ice. it opened up in way that introduced the smoke as a characteristic and not a motif. buying a bottle!
