surprisingly mild nose (compared to ardbeg for example). cherry comes out later seawater, sand, beach smells, peat, and a touch of Carmel. smokey body, still quite simple. chased by vanilla, oak, pepper, and cream. easy and breezy. cranberry? a lighter brighter islay.
