Wild Turkey Bourbon 101

Honey toffee nose with a hint of vanilla and burnt caramel. The entry is both sweet and spicy, with heat developing midpalate. Honey and vanilla are also accounted for. The finish is medium-long, bitter and hot. Adding water brings out some sweet tea and herbal aromas, but does little to the dry spicy finish.

@BDanner I can see how water helps. I did like Knob Creek, but still need to try a few more things like Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare before figuring out what profiles I like best.
@WhiskyWitch Nice review. This one took a while to grow on me. A little water really helps it, and now that Knob Creek has lost its age statement, this has become my go-to dining out bourbon on the rocks.
