Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Nose - soft notes of tart cherry come through, followed by more dramatic play of vanilla and caramel. Peanut brittle comes to mind, with almost a creaminess tickling the senses..
Palette - more peanut and vanilla, with a mellow but present oak note. Mouthfeel is nice, perhaps more oily and full than you would be led to believe.
Finish - a bit of a let down on the finish, relative to the fantastic nose and overall great flavors this produces. The mellow oak tones are present, but don't last long with a pretty short finish without much spice or bite to end (likely due to relatively low proof).
Overall a great bourbon and one that I will keep stocked in my bar.
