Old Ezra 7 Year Barrel Strength Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

A wonderfully cacophonous whiskey that felt high pitched in tone, with a subtly tart quality beneath a pleasantly smooth start to finish. I get cherries clearly with a hint of licorice (anise) on the finish. On the nose, I'm reminded of a wet, mossy forest.
The high corn bill is unmistakable. Very lown burn for something only 7 years old. Worth the price I paid.
