Do you like lighter fluid with a hint of whiskey? Strong proof though.

This is precisely why you’re supposed to add water to cask strength whiskies. Not to mention it brings out aroma and flavors once you add bottled/filtered water and allow it time to sit in the glass after the addition of water (at least 15 minutes) before tasting. The ethanol vapor and flavor/burn will nearly always vanish.
