This bottom shelf bourbon is oft-ignored. But as a cheap wheated bourbon it’s easy to drink. Just don’t expect much complexity. Nose: oak, sweet fruit, corn, caramel Palate: hints of butterscotch and baking spices, light creamy mouthfeel Finish: some spices and sweet citrus and that’s about it. Quick. Wheat bourbon lovers should be OK with this but it’s rough. Noses a bit like Makers Mark, slight cherry fruit. Slightly more medicinal than Makers but not far off.
