Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Oak, leather and some citrus fruit on the nose. Full and rich to the tongue. More oak and leather with some vanilla and burn. The finish is quick, with some burn coming back to linger after you swallow. Overall smooth and balanced. The rocks bring out a lot of cinnamon, spice and herb in the body while the finish is then much more subtle.

"I just got a bottle last night different barrel I’m sure but same house (RS) and I have to say, it’s the most oak forward bourbon I’ve ever had. I’m still deciding how much I like it but man, I get so much oak. I’m hoping some of the other flavors gain traction once it’s been open a bit. I will say it may be the easiest 50% I’ve ever experienced though. It feels like it was either exceptionally hot where it was or it was in the barrel a long time. I wish more comments listed the Warehouse and Barrels just for comparison."
