Nose: Light smoke, bananas, tart pears Palate: Light touch of peat, pepper, apples, caramel Finish: Coffee, walnuts, orange zest Very easy sipper, doesn't burn much, very good in general for the pricepoint. Now I haven't tried the old bottling, but if it's better than this for the same price I can understand why people are upset about the change. For my experience though, this is a really solid whisky that you should definitely not overlook.
