For a $30 bottle, I found this to be excellent. Perhaps my favorite in the sub $30 price range. 2008 bottling. Tasting notes are full of Brown sugar and vanilla in the front switching to cherry then finishing with a medium length finish of red wine. Exceptionally smooth. Nonexistent burn. Silk. Not terribly complex, but thoroughly enjoyable neat. I've had worse for almost double the price. 4/5 compared to all Bourbon, but 4.75/5 compared to other $30 bottles
