Brown-Forman product. Double charcoal mellowed, exceptionally smooth finish with balanced oak flavour and notes of caramel and vanilla. This is different than Jack Daniel's Black Label by way of a second pass through the sugar maple charcoal filter after its maturation in new, charred oak barrels. Gentleman Jack is bottled at 40% ABV. Nose - Spicy nose with caramel, charred oak and a little aniseed. Taste- Liquorice-led palate with oak and cinnamon, a touch of banana too. Finish - Roasty and toasty finish, plenty of spice and citrus too. (credit to published reviews - on which I built mine)
