I was a much bigger fan of this bourbon before the price went up to about 45 bucks a bottle (used to be easily obtained for around 33. I thought it was a great bourbone to make classic cocktails with or even experiement with as the flavor stood up well, but the proof was better, in my opinion, to not get people too saused up with tasty treats. At this price point I'll still readily purchase, but probably use for my own cocktails, and not the whole party
