I am a bit disappointed in my first pour from this bottle. I am a big Knob Creek fan but this seems a lesser drink than the regular small batch. A splash of water seems to do very little. I have high expectations of higher proof single barrel offerings to bring assertive flavors and bright textures. This misses the mark. I am hopeful that this is from a weak barrel or maybe it just needs some time to air out a bit. I will give it another go in a few weeks.
