Trying to kill a 2 hour wait here at the Denver airport, so I figured what better way then to try something new. I was scanning for a Stranahan Sherry cask, but couldn’t find it, so was going to settle for a Knob Creek rye. The bartender instead suggested this...classic up sell. She figures’s business traveler ...let’s get a bit more tip. But, I gotta say...she wasn’t wrong in suggesting this. Sure, it’s $10 more than the Knob Creek, but I’m guessing a whole other playing field. My god this is good. Ignore that pretty ceramic bottle ,the juice inside is excellent. I love the nose on this. All dulce de leche. Taste is crisp green apples coated with caramel. Jesus this is good. Type of tequila that’ll make a scotch drinker switch sides. Up sell or not...it’s a damn good tequila

Thanks for the heads up. Added to my next MoM order:-)
@cascode you won’t go wrong. Till now, the best tequila or mezcal I had was the del Maguey Chichicapa. This is better.
@worldwhiskies95i actually just bought a bottle of this now—loved it that much
U have stated u like mezcal but not tequila in the past, it turns out u were judging your previous opinion of tequila on a small sample size. Seems like either u have been developing a taste or ur finding out what u like. U can easily learn more about tequila and mezcal if u wanted to.
OK - I'm sold. I've been putting off trying this one for ages (so much else to do ...) but it's getting fast-tracked now. Cheers!
This was the one I fell in love with as well! It's so damn good!
@Generously_Paul totally agree. I know next to nothing about tequila, rum and brandy/cognac/Armagnac. But once in a while you run into a gem like this, often through recommendations
I know so little about tequila and mezcal. I’d like to get acquainted but there are sooooo many more whiskies left to drink
