disgusting. terrible. appalling. no matter how much i love islay’s and laphroaigs in general and specific, this tastes like a steel plate hitting you in the face and somehow making it’s way to your tongue, desirous as it is for some melting golden sunshine that your brain announced to be expected from this familiar looking bottle from the brand you thought to know so well. i even tried to mix it with anything to dilute it to something drinkable, but even a soda-window-cleaning fluid or anti-freeze-on-the-rocks would surely be more enjoyable.
