I’m going with a 3.5. This is a good solid bourbon, and a good solid value for the price. BUT...its not delicious, its quite bland, no real finish, nothing special. Now really read what i’m saying here, its not bad and a great price for the proof and flavor, but i bet if it had an age statement it would be maybe 4 years.
Now let’s talk about what this would be with more age. I think with some age this would be amazing, i can only imagine if willet aged this baby for 10-12 years, adding some complexity and more flavor depth. This has so much potential. I may try to age it with a little charred oak on my own.
