Obvious peaty smoke and medicinal notes on the nose. Not near Laphroaig levels of medicinal- that's like licking the floor of a surgery room. This hints at iodine but the smoke is more present. It's like a diet version of Lagavaulin 16. Where the Lagavaulin is meaty and tastes like liquid barbecue brisket this is more smoke and charcoal. Not bad if you like the smoky side of scotch.
