On the nose:
Floral bomb and citrus on the nose. Not a gentle floral either, more like an 80’s neon explosion rather than a gentle rose like tone. Citrus is sharp like a tangerine, not an orange. Notes of pepper as well.
Taste: Complex! Fairly alcoholic and hot. The floral still comes through but the sweeter citrus and black pepper really shine. Juniper undertones...enough to carry this gin forward but not enough to make me feel like I’m drinking a traditional gin.
Finish: Once the alcohol burn slows down, this gin finishes very nicely. Sweet and lingering that just doesn’t go away. It’s like smelling your lover’s perfume on your shirt from days ago.
Such a fun and complex gin! Highly recommended. Wouldn’t mix it...this is made for sipping
