I'm an Islay guy, but I'm a sucker for anything Skye. Isle of Skye is my favorite board game, even. Odd, I know. Anyway. The Scotch is good. Pepper punch and salt/brine dominate. Lots of burn. Iodine and bacon come next. Peat/smoke in the finish, but not huge, and the iodine lingers on the finish. I still prefer Laphroaig, but this is a good change-up.
