Nice rum, and nice bar. Copper and Oak is such a unique place.
Interesting, not the tasting notes I would expect from an old Caroni. I have a 16 yr 1997 Caroni from Duncan Taylor that I purchased a while back without knowing much about it. I'm afraid to open it after reading tasting notes for other similar releases I've found online, many of which mention things like petrol fuel and rubber. I get this impression most of the older stuff from Trinidad (but not the the multi-column stuff from Angostura) is very heavy/funky in style.
@cascode which I think will make the old port Ellens more expensive.
