Simple Nose toffee vanilla however not as sweet tasting as I previously remembered, I got a ripe fruit banana pears flavour with a very oaky spicy hit and a very astringent affect with a complete drying out of the gums leaving a leathery aftertaste and a real bitterness feel with hints of a sort of bitter lemon - this has changed from a few years ago NOT the same whisky for £38 NOT worth a lot better out there for this range
