Nose: pumpernickel and rye bread, candle wax, vanilla, blackberry jam, raspberries, cherry cola.
Palate: vanilla, caramel, rye bread, barrel spice, leather.
Finish: sour oak, raspberry cream.
This whiskey is all about oak and rye. Like a multi-layered cake of gorgeous oak notes and rye. Layered over and over and over again. One layer of oak notes parts way to showcasing the rye in the mash bill then fades to more oak and into more rye again.
