Really nice for a upstart distillery at 2.5 years. Barley single malt. Initially barreled in new charred oak, then finished in used bourbon barrels from Breckenridge distillery. Super smooth and pleasant. Much more robust than a typical Irish. A bit simple but enjoyable. I get a bit of a grape/plum flavor and nose, like grappa.

@Soba45 haha, yeah I didn’t do a good job clarifying that. Irish-Americans riffing on that tradition here in Kansas City. I need to get up there to do a tour... good stuff!
I hadn't heard of them so checked them out. I thought they were a new Irish distillery based on your comment :-). Love the distillery building looks awesome what they've done with the place.
