When I first opened the bottle it tasted like a salty smokey mezcal. It opened up quite a bit but is still too salty IMHO. In the latter drams the sherry starts to show through.
The nose starts with malt and cereal then leads into caramel with vegetal and mild to heavy salt it finishes with notes or dried fruits that lends a creaminess.
The pallet starts with creamy caramel fruit and then smoke and salt, lingering vegetal note that fades back into dark fruits. Mild burn with a short to medium finish.
