@FurthurThanGonzo And I just tried Rock Hill Farms and fell in love.
@Bmaasen86 Just trying it tonight. Amazing complexity and so many notes. I’m eager to see what happens after leaving it sit for awhile. Hard to categorize and compare this whiskey—elements of scotch, bourbon and Irish. Whistle Pig 12 year Old World Cask is probably my fave of late. Enjoy Weller 107 and Special Reserve as “daily drinkers” and I’m fond of Old Forester across the line. On the Scotch side, I’ve been really enjoying Talisker 10 lately. Elijah Craig Barrel Proof is, in my estimation, the best bang for your buck that’s readily available.
@FurthurThanGonzo sorry for the late response. I’m in Mexico on my honeymoon. My uncle recently got me started on craft whiskey. I also really enjoy King County and if it’s been a long day Noah’s Mill. What about you? Have you tried The Emerald? Cheers!
