This is pretty good stuff for Johnnie Walker. Beautiful sweet peat. very lagavullin like...car oil, smokey, waxy. A very complex dram. Slightly shorter on the aftertaste, but still great experience. They didn't skimp on the good stuff.

@Rick_M @PBMichiganWolverine more the flavour profile. As you say PBM not as full on as a laga but there were elements that it reminded me of. Probably reading your review prior got the comparison stuck in my head just like when I tried the brora whilst reading my son a book which contained the word popcorn :-)

@Soba45 - your review doesn’t square with @PBMichiganWolverine on the Lagavulin issue. Anything to add on smokiness. Inquiring minds need to know. :)
