Chocolate, Smokey goodness. You can almost taste the sea spray. The oceanic quality of this single malt is exceptional. Rough edges are toned down with the sherry cask finish. Nose does not present the medicinal qualities of Ardbeg and Laphroaig. Kinda hits a nice balance between an Islay and a Highland but still very Islay forward. Glad to have this in my collection.
