The nose is rich. Maple smoked bacon, sherry notes, candied orange, figs, fresh hay, seaweed, iodine, brine; all layered and dancing together in a beautiful harmonious movement.
Palate: thick and creamy on entry. Sherry notes of dark fruits, malt, honey, barrel spice, tamed smoke, tar, molasses and brine. Just an amazing, smooth, delicious dram of whisky. Not overly complex...its just joy for your tastebuds in a glass.
