Neat. Good amount of ethanol on the nose. Once you get past that the flavors are medium to dark on the nose. Lots of spice. Oak. I would call it fruit, maybe a beat. It’s hearty. Nice syrupy thickness, pepper and caramel on the palate immediately. It’s hot at first on the swallow but gives way to those hearty flavors and transitions to tons of spiced vanilla. The legs are delicious and the best part. That vanilla and spice hangs for a solid minute. Very solid all around.

Changes after sitting and sips. Nose adapts to the hotness and opens up to vanilla and cherries. Still a heartiness behind that. The hotness disappears on the swallow too. Take time with this one. Explore for awhile before watering down.
