This is a blend from Paddleford Creek Spirits Company. Princeton, MN. It was referred to me by an employee at Total Wine. He stated that this "Bourbon Whiskey" is one of their best sellers.
I can see why it is a big seller. It is a smooth one for sure. Nothing that will knock your socks off but very good. It was $23. As for notes, everytime I take a sip, I notice something new. I do expect this from a blend.
Slight Alcohol Bite at beginning.
Smooths out with a charcoal first note for me.
Slightly woody (Oak).
Kind of a spicy and oily finish.
Overall pretty good.
I have also had this over ice. It smooths it out to a very mild whiskey. Kentucky Mule mix could be great.
