Nose reminds me of my grandfather’s homemade peach brandy, which I used to sneak a nip of from time to time as a kid. Also apple and pear notes. A tinge of citrus emerges on the palate with the perfect level of heat and spice. Pleasant, mid-length finish with lingering spice—and a surprising chocolate note that hits quickly between palate and finish, when I’m careful to get the taste to the back of my tongue.
